<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of enhancing a moisture content in food. <P>SOLUTION: Only fine mist of a prescribed particle size or less set less than diameters of stomatal aperture parts of vegetables out of the atomized mist by an ultrasonic element of a water replenish device 121 is sprayed from a metal mesh 126. The sprayed fine mist is deposited on surfaces of the vegetable and fruits under the condition where stomas are opened in a vegetable chamber 114 of the refrigerator 100, and is permeated into tissues via the stomas.
