NONCONTACT DATA CARRIER AND WIRING BOARD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact data carrier that can be manufactured efficiently at low cost and a wiring board for the noncontact data carrier, i.e., its component.

SOLUTION: The noncontact data carrier 100 comprises an IC chip 10 capable of storing data; a wiring board having an IC chip 10 mounted thereon and having a wiring layer including an antenna pattern 1 electrically connected to the IC chip 10; and an external terminal 70 formed on an end face surrounding a surface on which the IC chip 10 of the wiring board is mounted, the external terminal 70 being electrically connected to the antenna pattern 1.
