PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire saw which can process a large workpiece and can reduce in size of the entirety of the saw. SOLUTION: A processing unit 27 made by winding one wire 45 at a predetermined pitch between a plurality of rollers is approached and moved relatively to a workpiece 24 while the wire 45 is feeding, and the workpiece 24 is processed by the contact of the wire 45 with the workpiece 24. The processing unit 27 is constituted of a processing part 35 and a pitch feeding part 36. A pair of working rollers 37A and 37B are provided in the processing part 35, and the wire 45 is wound to extend in parallel at the same upper and lower positions between these working rollers 37A and 37B. In the pitch feeding part 36, at least a pair of pitch feeding rollers 46A and 46B are provided, and the wire 45 is wire pitch fed on the working rollers 37A and 37B between these pitch feeding rollers 46A and 46B.
