PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal accumulator capable of easily coping with demand of changing necessary volume without increasing costs only by increasing or decreasing the laminate number of tank components. SOLUTION: In this thermal accumulator having a vacuum heat insulating layer 2 on an outer peripheral portion of a liquid storage portion 1, the liquid storing portion 1 and the vacuum heat insulating layer 2 are formed by laminating the plurality of tank components 10 composed of plate members having the same cross-sectional shape. That is, the liquid storing portion 1 is composed of a liquid storing portion space 10f connected by laminating the tank components 10, and the vacuum heat insulating layer 2 is formed by applying a vacuum to a heat insulating layer space 10e communicated by laminating the tank components 10.
