摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in abnormality diagnosis of an intake system in which an air cleaner and an AFM (airflow meter) are disposed to each of two systems of intake passages of an engine. SOLUTION: An estimated intake air flow rate GBEST of a second intake passage 14 is calculated based on a detected intake air flow rate GA of a first intake passage 13 detected by a first AFM 17, and an estimated intake air flow rate GAEST of a first intake passage 13 is calculated based on a detected intake air flow rate GB of the second intake passage 14 detected by a second AFM 18. Then, the detected intake air flow rate GA of the first intake passage 13 is compared with the estimated intake air flow rate GAEST so as to determine presence/absence of an abnormality (clogging of a first air cleaner 15 or the like) of the intake air flow rate of the first intake passage 13. The detected intake air flow rate GB of the second intake passage 14 is compared with the estimated intake air flow rate GBEST so as to determine presence/absence of an abnormality (clogging of a second air cleaner 16 or the like) of the intake air flow rate of the second intake passage 14.
