A functional flowerpot cover is provided to facilitate the water-absorption of a plant in a flowerpot and prevent the plant from being damaged by an impact on the flowerpot. A functional flowerpot cover comprises: a plant-fixing band part(40) and a plant-fixing fold part(60), both of which fix a plant in a flowerpot to a flowerpot-inlet top part(20); a flowerpot-fixing device body(80) which comes into contact with the body of the flowerpot; a flowerpot-fixing band part(100) and a body fold part(200), both of which fix the flowerpot; and a flowerpot-inlet bottom part(120), through which the flowerpot is put in or taken out from the cover. The flowerpot cover is made of at least one material selected from the group consisting of fabric, rubber, silicon, synthetic resin, leather, and paper.
