A hinge unit in a dual-axis rotation folder-type mobile terminal is provided to implement an easy locking operation by providing the locking or locking-released state of a rotary hinge part according to the opening or closing of a folder and to conveniently open and close the folder by preventing the folder from being vertically opened and closed when the folder is horizontally opened and closed or from being horizontally opened and closed when the folder is vertically opened and closed. A hinge unit in a dual-axis rotation folder-type mobile terminal consists of the first hinge part(31) and a rotary hinge part. The rotary hinge part, composed of the second and third hinge parts(32,33), comprises a locking unit(100). The locking unit(100) consists of the first and second locking members(110,120), the first and second locking rod parts(130,140), a guide locking part(150), and the first and second elastic members(160,170). The locking members(110,120) respectively are installed at the second and third hinge parts(32,33). The locking rod parts(130,140), installed at the first hinge part(31) and a swing connection part(40), are attached to or detached from the locking members(110,120) when the rotary hinge part rotates horizontally or vertically. The guide locking part(150), installed at the first hinge part(31), guides the locking rod parts(130,140) as the rotary hinge part rotates horizontally or vertically. The elastic members(160,170), respectively installed at the locking rod parts(130,140), provide elastic force so that the locking rod parts(130,140) can be moved and attached to or detached from the locking members(110,120).
