A pass gate circuit for transferring signals stably and a controlling method thereof are provided to output the signals stably even though the level of an input signal and the level of an output signal are changed at the same time. A signal transmission part(110) transmits an input signal to the outside in response to a transmission control signal. A control signal generation part(120) generates a safety window with constant width in correspondence to the level transition time of the input signal, and generates a main control signal maintaining constant signal transmission state of the signal transmission part during the safety window period, and outputs the main control signal to the signal transmission part as the transmission control signal. The safety window is an auto pulse generated using a signal which is leading the input signal.
