<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily separate a hydrophobic metabolic product, dissolving or dispersing in an aqueous medium such as a cell culture liquid of a microbe, animal and plant and an enzyme reaction liquid, without carrying out a troubling operation such as an extraction by an organic solvent. <P>SOLUTION: After the aqueous medium containing the hydrophobic metabolic product and bubbles are made to contact and the hydrophobic product is captured in the bubbles by the hydrophobic interaction on the interface, the bubbles are separated outside a system. Thus, a distillation discovery of an extraction solvent, which has required a large-scale operation conventionally, and a purification operation can be simplified to greatly decrease a production cost and an environmental load accompanied by production. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
