<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection device for a vehicle capable of suitably protecting an occupant from impact in collision of the vehicle based on the occupant posture. <P>SOLUTION: The occupant crash protection device 1 for the vehicle is provided with an occupant posture detection means 20 for detecting the occupant posture, and occupant crash protection means 40, 50 and 70 for protecting the occupant from the impact in collision of the vehicle, and is further provided with an operation output varying means for varying the operation output of the occupant crash protection means, and a control means for determining target output of the occupant crash protection means and controlling the operation output varying means so as to achieve the target output.
