PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact having a ridge line contacting a bump, and exerting large elastic force; and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This contact 1A is provided with a metal spring film 2A exerting elastic force, and a metal contact film 3 having a ridge line 3a by individually forming them independently of each other (fig. 3, K). The contact 1A is manufactured through processes A-J. Since it is not necessary to form the ridge line 3a on the metal spring film 2A, its film thickness can be easily increased (fig. 3, F). Since the cross section of the metal spring film 2A has a semicircular shape and its facing surface 2Aa to a bump is set generally horizontal, the metal contact film 3 of a precise shape having the ridge line 3a on the facing surface 2Aa can be easily formed (fig. 3, I).
