PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and quickly achieve switching of an OS in an active status. SOLUTION: In a computer system 1, a control part for switching-source OS includes: a switching request receiving part 11 which receives an OS switching request for requesting that the switch-designation OS in a suspend status becomes the OS in the active status; a switching event notifying part 12 to notify event information being included in the received OS switching request, and requesting the switch-destination OS or the application on the switching-destination OS to perform a process to the switch-destination OS or an application on the switch-destination OS; and a switch control part 13 to direct an OS switching function 2 so that the switch-destination OS becomes the OS in the active status.
