PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator for a water faucet capable of improving the efficiency of power generation. SOLUTION: This generator for the water faucet is provided with a moving blade provided in a water feeding flow passage to rotate around a central axis which is substantially parallel with the water feeding flow passage, a magnet having a cylindrical shape having alternately polarized N and S poles along the peripheral direction and rotatable integrally with the moving blade, a coil provided by opposing the magnet, and a yoke composed of a magnetic substance having a plurality of pole teeth arranged so as to separate from each other along the peripheral direction between the magnet and the coil and provided by surrounding the coil. A counterbored part formed by being notched from one end side where the pole teeth are provided is provided in a substantially vertical part with respect to the pole teeth in the yoke.
