PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph which can appropriately acquire local elasticity information of the internal tissue of a subject. SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph can acquire distance changes or elasticity information from the distance changes and accordingly changes the display mode between trace points by a means to generate and display an ultrasonogram in a tomographic region of the subject 1 in a display means 16 on the basis of ultrasongraphic data measured in the course of variation of pressure applied to the internal tissue of the subject 1 and trace the positional change of trace points on the ultrasonogram at the time when a plurality of trace points A to F are set in an interesting part on the ultrasonogram displayed in the display means 16 and a means to measure distances d1 to d5 between the trace points and acquire changes in the distance.
