PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient grip used in various forms in the grip of an umbrella or a stick usable as a baggage carrier. SOLUTION: This grip consists of a curved or bent grip body 1 and a baggage hanging string 21-24 attached thereto, one end 1a of the grip body 1 is detachably attached to an umbrella shaft b1 of an umbrella body B, the end of an interpolated grip 10, or the upper end of a stick body C, the other end 1b is formed as a string locking part 1d or 1g for locking the free end of the baggage hanging string 21-24, one end 21a-24a of the baggage hanging string 21-24 is attached near the attachment end 1a of the umbrella or the stick of the grip body 1 and the free end 21b-24b is so constituted as to be lockable to the string locking part 1d or 1g of the grip body 1.
