PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment unit by which timing when a spittoon bowl is given can be optionally set interlocking with the inclination angle when the backrest of a dental treatment chair moves to a gargle position to allow an individual patient to gargle in the timing according to the individual patient and to allow the patient to continue the treatment without applying stress on the patient. SOLUTION: The dental treatment unit has the dental treatment chair 1 having the standable and fallable backrest 1b, a water supplying and discharging box 3 arranged in the side part of the dental treatment chair 1, and the spittoon bowl 4 housed in the water supplying and discharging box 3 when treating as shown by Fig.1(A) and moved a gargle position shown by Fig.1(D) when gargling. The spittoon bowl 4 is in the gargle position when the backrest 1b is in the inclined angles hereafter the setting button S is pushed when the backrest 1b is in an optional inclination anglesθ<SB>1</SB>orθ<SB>2</SB>moving from the state shown by the Fig.1(A) to the state by the Fig.1(D) (for example shown by Figs.1(B) and 1(C)).
