METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING BISPHENOL TYPED-EPOXYMETHACRYLATE

A method for synthesizing bisphenol-based epoxy methacrylate is provided to simplify the preparation procedures and reduce the production costs and time by carrying out the synthesis through one batch and removing the purification process during the reaction, while the structure and properties of the compound are maintained without change. A method for synthesizing bisphenol-based epoxy methacrylate comprises the steps of: (a) introducing glycidyl methacrylate into bisphenol compound in the presence of a catalyst selected from tertiary amine compound, tertiary phosphorous compound and alkyl ammonium salt; (b) adding epichlorohydrin into the reaction mixture obtained from the step (a) to introduce chlorohydrin group; and (c) adding a base selected from KOH, NaOH, K2CO3 and Na2CO3 into the reaction mixture obtained from the step (b) to proceed a cyclization process of chlorohydrin group.
