摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preform image processing in which extraction of obstacles such as preceding vehicles and white lines is successful to photographed images of a camera according to situations by simple and inexpensive configuration.

SOLUTION: A binary threshold of a differential binary image generation part 5 which generates a differential binary image of the photographed image of the camera 1b loaded on the self-vehicle is selected and set to a threshold for obstacle suitable for obstacle extraction or a threshold for white line suitable for white line extraction selected from a threshold map memory 11 as a storage means according to a state of collision probability, by a differential binary threshold selection processing part 10 being a threshold selection means.
