<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior component mounting structure of a vehicle capable of suppressing the breakage of one exterior component in a collision of the other one while enhancing the accuracy of a parting space between the exterior components arranged adjacent to each other. <P>SOLUTION: A supporting member 14 arranged on a body 20 of a vehicle 10 has an engagement claw 14A (a first positioning part) which positions a rear combination lamp 11 (a first exterior component) in the vertical direction of the vehicle and is detached from the rear combination lamp 11 when a bumper cover 12 (a second exterior component) is assembled, and a second positioning part 14B for positioning the bumper cover 12 in the vertical direction of the vehicle when the bumper cover 12 is assembled. As the bumper cover 12 is assembled, the engagement claw 14A of the supporting member 14 is detached from the rear combination lamp 11, and a collision load is not transmitted to the rear combination lamp 11 from the supporting member 14 in a collision with the bumper cover 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
