<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inter-sector interference of a pilot channel by reducing the influence of frequency selective phasing, especially when the number of sectors becomes 4 or larger. <P>SOLUTION: A base station 10, which generates a pilot channel that is orthogonal among N (N≥4) channels, has a sequence generation section 111 which generates a phase rotation sequence, wherein phase the rotation amounts of frequency domains are arranged so that phase rotation amounts of frequency domains applied to the respective sectors are 2π/N larger than those of adjacent sectors; and an orthogonal sequence multiplying section 113 which applies to the phase rotation amount corresponding to the frequency domain of each sector from among the phase rotation sequence, to the pilot channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
