<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power parking brake device with a load sensor for detecting the tension of a cable on the basis of the deformed amount of an elastic structure deformable according to the tension of the cable in the way of accurately detecting the tension of the cable continuously even after the tension of the cable becomes excessively greater. <P>SOLUTION: The power parking brake device comprises a displacement sensor S1 (the load sensor) in which the deformed amount (the amount of a height reduced from a free height) of the elastic structure composed of a disc spring 45 and a coil spring 49 arranged in series is limited to be L1 or smaller. The L1 is designed to be in a range that the elastic structure is free from plastic deformation. This prevents the plastic deformation of the elastic structure even if the tension of the cable becomes excessively greater, and prevents a change in the deforming property of the elastic structure for the tension of the cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
