PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal charging system or the like achieving proper charging processing.

SOLUTION: The terminal charging system S includes a portable information terminal T for reproducing information obtained, and a charger C for supplying power to the portable information terminal T to charge it. The charger C includes a reproduction result information obtaining means (CPU 21) for obtaining, from a FlashROM 16 for recording reproduction results showing the results of information reproduced by the portable information terminal T, reproduction result information showing information about the reproduction results; a reproduction result information sending means (CPU 21) for sending the reproduction result information obtained from the portable information terminal T via a communication path (public communication line L) to a management center that manages the reproduction results of the portable information terminal T; and a power supply control means (CPU 21) for supplying power to the rechargeable battery 13 of the portable information terminal T after the reproduction result information obtaining means obtains the reproduction result information from the portable information terminal T and the reproduction result information sending means sends the reproduction result information to the management center.
