<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently suppressing an increase in blower power, and an aeration device capable of reducing an increase in its pressure loss, a factor of the increase in the blower power. <P>SOLUTION: In the operation method of the aeration device, the surface temperature of aeration holes of the aeration device for diffusing gas into a treatment tank treating water to be treated using mesophilic aerobic microorganisms is kept at least at 45°C to inhibit the adhesion of solids to the aeration device. The aeration device is used in the treatment tank treating the water to be treated using a gas supply device for supplying gas and the mesophilic aerobic microorganisms. An aeration system comprises the aeration device which has aeration holes for diffusing the gas supplied from the gas supply device, and a temperature maintaining means for keeping the surface temperature of the aeration holes at least at 45°C, and the surface temperature of the aeration holes is kept at least at 45°C, thereby inhibiting the adhesion of solids to the aeration device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
