PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable information terminal device to be open/close-driven by an actuator such as a compact motor small in output, and to make the portable information terminal device compact and lightweight. SOLUTION: A first arm 21 is provided on a front 4 of a lower case 2 and is driven by a DC motor 11 to rotate on an output shaft 14 at one end. A second arm 22 is provided on the front 4 of the lower case 2, and has one end fitted rotatably to the other end of the first arm 21. A guide rail 21 is provided on the front 4 of the lower case 2, and has its length along the length of the lower case 2. A slide pin 33 is fitted to the other end of the second arm 22, and has one end engaged with the guide rail 21 to freely slide in the guide rail 21 and also has the other end fitted to a bottom 6 of an upper case 3.
