PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painted aluminum material which has a paint film on the surface of an aluminum material made from aluminum or aluminum alloy, does not contain chromium, is eco-friendly, and has not only superior corrosion resistance but also superior bend formability. SOLUTION: The painted aluminum material has a paint film formed on the surface of the aluminum material made from aluminum or aluminum alloy through an inorganic film which contains a silicon compound in a range of 5 to 200 mg/m<SP>2</SP>in terms of silicon, also contains an organic binder in a range of 35 wt.% or less, but does not substantially contain chromium; and shows superior corrosion resistance though containing no chromium, and superior bend formability as well.
