PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person, skilled or not, to form a bevel appropriate for a special lens, such as a spectacle lens of minus strength. SOLUTION: The formation of the bevel on the spectacle lens of minus strength is performed by; determining a bevel curve value based on the curve value of its convex face (S721); determining the bevel reference axis of an initial period in the same direction as the curvature direction of the convex face (S722); determining the reference position on the edge in a minimum thickness section based on the thickness value of the minimum thickness section on the lower side in the vertical direction (S723); determining the correction value of the bevel curve reference axis of the initial period based on the thickness ratio of the maximum thickness section and the minimum thickness section on an upper side in the vertical direction (S724); determining the angle to cause axial inclination from the axial direction of the bevel curve reference axis of the initial period based on the correction value (S725); and determining the bevel locus based on the bevel curve value, the reference position, and the axial inclination angle (S726).
