PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of adding electronic paper to an arbitrary position and displaying the same. SOLUTION: A position detection ring 24 is a ring of an opening and closing system which is cut at ends 1491, 1492 and is fixed to master paper 3 in projecting parts 141, 142. Slave paper 4 can be attached and detached by parting the ends. An end 1491 is provided with a switch which turns on to detect the opening and closing of the position detection ring 24.on touching. A voltage of 5V is applied from the battery of the master paper 3 to each sheets of the slave paper 4 in which the voltage value of the current flowing to the position detection ring 24 is measured in a voltage measuring section. Since the position detection ring 24 is formed of an electric resistor, according to the arranged position of the slave paper 4 in the position detection ring 24, the voltage measured in the voltage measuring section has different values. By subjecting the voltage value to A/D conversion, the position of the slave paper 4 in the position detection ring 24 is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
