PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension and contraction type hinge device composed by effectively utilizing a linear extension and contraction function by link connection, and a game machine whose front door is displaced from a game machine main body to the front surface outer side by using the hinge device. SOLUTION: The base body 410 of an upper side hinge device 400 is supported at the front surface upper end part of the left side edge part of a planar main body frame 210 so as to be inclined to the left side at both left and right side flanges 412 and 413. A connecting member 420 is freely turnably fitted to an upper end shaft 313 projected on the upper end part of the left side edge part of a planar front frame 310. A link member 430 is connected to the base body 410 so as to be freely turned through a shaft 434. A link member 440 is connected so as to be freely turned through both connection shafts 443 and 444 between the link member 430 and the connecting member 420. A lock mechanism 460 is supported by the U-shaped body 411 of the base body 410 and locks the connecting member 420 to the base body 410 by the connection shaft 444. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
