The method for laser processing of a coated sheet metal for automotive industry, comprises producing a topographical rearrangement by a laser on the side of the sheet metal turned away from the laser, controlling and regulating the laser beam, which penetrates from the side of the sheet metal turned to it in the direction of the sides turned away from the beam without melting of the sheet metal. The topographical rearrangement, which projects from the side of the sheet metal, is produced during coating the sheet metal together with another sheet metal in a clamping device. The topographical rearrangement, which projects from the side of the sheet metal, is produced during coating the sheet metal together with another sheet metal in a clamping device, which fixes two sheet metals relative to each other. A record gripper is used as clamping device. The topographical modification causes the formation of a gap between the two sheet metals that are welded together in the area of the gap, so that the occurring vaporization products are escaped into the gap. The two sheet metals are welded together in such a way the welding seam appears between the previously produced topographical rearrangement. The welding seam and the topographical rearrangement have the same form and an uniform interval. |
