In a package (see Group XVII) comprising a strip of sheet polythene and a length of putty-like composition adherent thereto, the composition comprises the following parts by weight: (1) french chalk 18.3, lithopene 18.3, asbestos fibre 26, blown castor oil 28.9, lime-hardened rosin 3.51, and "Vinsol" (Registered Trade Mark) resin 4.95 or (2) french chalk 77.25, white titanium oxide pigment 26, aluminium stearate 10.25, calcium stearate 3.25, asbestos fibre 124.75, blown castor oil 145, lime-hardened rosin 9, and castor oil 3.75.
