OPTICAL FIBER, OPTICAL FIBER TAPE AND OPTICAL INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM

摘要

An optical fiber is provided with a core and a clad and is composed of a quartz glass. The optical fiber has a mode field diameter of 6.5µm or more at a wavelength of 1,300nm and a bending loss of 1dB/turn or less at a wavelength of 1,300nm when propagating light having a wavelength of 1,250nm in single mode and bent at a curvature radius of 1.5mm. Thus, an optical fiber and an optical fiber tape which can perform high-speed optical transmission are provided by reducing both bending loss and connection loss, and thus, an optical interconnection system is easily configured.
