<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus and a conveyance controlling method which can perform an accurate conveyance controlling of a recording medium even with the configuration wherein two or more conveying rollers are provided in a recording medium conveyance way. <P>SOLUTION: First, a pattern of uniform density predetermined using a recording head is recorded in the recording medium multiple times with conveying the recording medium while making a conveyance amount changed by minute quantum. Second, a conveyance correction amount acquired based on the conveyance amount at the time of recording the pattern chosen from two or more recorded patterns is stored in a storing medium. Then, based on the conveyance correction amount stored in the storing medium, the conveying of the recording medium is controlled while correcting the amount of the recording medium conveyance made by a conveyance means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
