<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of surely preventing careless jumping-out of a card. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 10 comprises a housing 2 forming a recessed part 21 for inserting and pulling out a card 1, and a cover 3 covering the recessed part 2. A slide member 4 is disposed at one side of the recessed part 21 so as to protrude and retreat in parallel to the inserting and pulling direction of the card 1, and includes a heart-shaped cam groove 41. A plate spring 5 is fixed at the base end side thereof to the slide member 4, with the tip side being protruded toward the opening of the recessed part 21. A compression coil spring 6a energizes the slide member 4 in the direction of discharging the card 1. A guide bar 6b has one end connected to the cam groove 41, and the other end rotatably supported by the housing 2. The slide member 4 includes an engagement piece 42 abutting on an inclined side 1a formed on a side surface of the card 1, and the plate spring 5 includes a semi-circular claw 51 which is fitted in and out of a substantially square recessed part 1b from the surface side of the card 1, and elastically engagingly locked by the recessed part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
