<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle caliper brake device for preventing the uneven wear of a lining. <P>SOLUTION: The caliper brake device comprises first and second brackets 36, 37 formed on a supporting frame 20 for supporting both ends of an upper supporting pin 30, and a bearing housing 38 formed at a caliper body 10 for rockingly supporting the upper supporting pin 30 via a bearing 100. The bearing 100 is arranged so that its center line G2 passes through the whole gravity center position W1 of the caliper body 10. When the caliper body 10 is moved relative to the supporting frame 20 in the X-axial direction of upper and lower supporting pins 30, 32, the bearing 100 is kept at a constant position relative to the caliper body 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
