PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shading data which is affected less by dust, dirt, etc. on a reference white board. SOLUTION: The shading data are obtained by taking a heavy additional average in a sub-scanning direction in each of prescribed pixels that are arranged each several pixels in the main-scanning direction on the reference white board. The reference white board is preferably constituted of two or more seals. The pixels on the reference white board are fetched by a white reference data fetching part, and the weighted average of the pixels are taken in the subscanning direction by a weighted average arithmetic processing part 12.
