SURFACE-MOUNTED CURRENT FUSE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted current fuse having a metal terminal of high tensile strength; and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This surface-mounted current fuse is provided with: a first base 11 formed of a ceramic, and having a recessed part 11a at the center part of its upper surface; a second base 12 arranged on the upper surface of the first base 11, formed of a ceramic, and having a recessed part 12a at the center part of its undersurface; a space part 14 comprising the recessed parts 11a and 12a; an element part 15 arranged in the space part 14; and metal terminals 16 connected to both ends of the element part 15 and arranged between the upper surface of the first base 11 and the undersurface of the second base 12; and is structured such that projecting parts 17 are formed at both ends of the upper surface of the first base 11; hole parts 18 fitted to the projecting parts 17 are formed at both ends of the undersurface of the second base 12; and a part of each metal terminal 16 is sandwiched therebetween.
