摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive toroidal continuously variable transmission capable of performing synchronization of axial displacement of trunnions and regulation of inclined rolling angle thereof through a simple yoke structure. SOLUTION: In this toroidal continuously variable transmission, a projection 120 of a yoke 23A (23B) for synchronizing axial displacement of trunnions functions also as a trunnion inclined rolling regulating stopper. In one embodiment, the projection 120 includes an upper surface 120c forming a guide surface which contacts with a trunnion in axial direction to synchronize the axial displacement of trunnions, a first side surface 120a forming an inclined rolling regulating stopper surface which contacts with the trunnion at the time of maximum acceleration, and a second side surface 120b forming a falling regulating stopper surface which contacts with the trunnion at the time of maximum deceleration.
