PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic controlled engine control device for actualizing stable engine speed control during a time for restoring a trouble such as noises on signals in a signal line connecting a vehicle body controller to an engine controller or the breakage thereof. SOLUTION: The connection of an EC dial 4 to the vehicle body controller 5 is switched into the connection of the EC dial 4 to the engine controller 3 by changing over a switch 8. When a trouble occurs such as noises on signals in a communication line 6, the breakage of the communication line 6, the stop of the engine 1, or impossible engine speed control, an operator changes over the switch 8 to input instructed signals from the EC dial 4 directly to the engine controller 3. The engine controller 3 computes a target engine speed in accordance with the instructed signals from the EC dial 4 to control the engine speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
