PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building foundation structure constructed in proximity to a retaining wall built in a soft ground. SOLUTION: In a large-sized steel pipe-soil cement composite pile, steel pipes as cores of soil cement piles are disposed in peripheral areas, and the peripheral areas of the steel pipes are filled with soil cement. Beam members of a predetermined quantity are extended in the direction of the retaining wall and installed on foundation pile heads of a predetermined quantity. On the beam members, a foundation is installed, and a building is constructed on the foundation on the extended beams and on the foundation on upper parts of the foundation piles.
