PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior trim part of an automobile, superior in a touch feeling, by firmly fixing a butting part of a leather end part to a base material, in the interior trim part of the automobile constituted by covering a surface of the base material with leather. SOLUTION: This interior trim part has the base material 7 comprising a hard member 13 and a soft member 15 arranged to cover a part of a surface of the hard member 13, the leather 9 arranged to cover a surface of the base material 7 by positioning the butting part 17 of an end part in a place of the hard member 13 of the base material 7, and a dummy stitch 25 arranged in the leather 9 to be positioned in a place of the soft member 15 of the base material 7 when arranging the leather 9 in the base material 7.
