PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive pneumatic radial tire capable of improving durability. SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire has a side wall made from two layers of an inner layer and an outer layer. A ratio of the thickness of the side wall inner layer to the thickness of the whole of the side wall is 0.2 to 0.8. A rubber compositions constructing the inner layer includes 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. of wood powders to 100 pts.wt.of the rubber composition. The pneumatic radial tire has a side wall made from one layer. The rubber composition constructing the side wall includes 5 to 50 pts.wt. of wood powders to the 100 pts.wt. of the rubber composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
