The present invention provides an alpha-oxoamide group- and (meth)acryloyloxy group-containing monomer compound represented by Formula (I) wherein Y is a C_1-6 straight-chain alkylene group which may be substituted with a C_1-6 organic group, R¹ is a C_1-16 organic group, R² is a hydrogen atom or a C_1-8 organic group, and R³ is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; a production process therefor; a polymer thereof; and an aqueous curable composition containing the polymer.
