[Class 65 (ii).] The hinge, shown in the open position in the Figure, comprises two plates a, fixed to the door-post and the edge of the door respectively, each plate having an upper eye at one edge, and a lower eye at the other; in the closed position the axis of the upper eye on each plate coincides with that of the lower eye on the other plate. The two upper eyes pivoted on the ends of a bent pin c and the two lower eyes are similarly connected. |
