<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording material with high image shelf stability, and especially, high heat-resistant image shelf stability and high image shelf stability in terms of plasticizer resistance and water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording material has a thermosensitive recording layer which contains an electron-donative dye precursor which is normally colorless or of a pale color and an electron-acceptive compound which makes the dye precursor develop a color through a thermal chemical reaction with the dye precursor, on a support. In addition, as the electron-acceptive compound contained in the thermosensitive recording layer, an addition compound of a phenol resin (a condensate of phenol and formalin) with a glycidyl (meth)acrylate, is added. Consequently, the thermosensitive recording material shows high image shelf stability, especially, high heat-resistant image shelf stability and high image shelf stability in terms of plasticizer resistance and water resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
