PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve commodity sales efficiency by reducing time and effort of price setting according to quality of each commodity.

SOLUTION: This is a commodity management device 1 which can be attached to each commodity. The commodity management device 1 is provided with; a detection section 12 which detects a detected value which indicates an environmental status of commodity; a storage section 11 which stores the detected value detected by the detection section 12; a CPU 10 which discriminates the quality of a commodity based on the detected value stored by the storage section 11 and decides the price of the commodity based on the discriminated quality; and a display section 14 which displays the price of the decided commodity.
