<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly process a fixed page document even without using much memory. <P>SOLUTION: A printing processor 1 includes an XPS syntax analyzer 60 provided with: an XML parser 62 reading a fixed page document from an external memory sequentially from the beginning and analyzing the XML; an XPS matchability judging section 65 judging the XPS consistency, based on the analysis result by the XML parser 62; an index storage 64 storing reference information on defining information in the FixedPage document; and a dictionary management section 63 reading the defining information from the external memory, based on the reference information in the index storage 64. The reference information is stored in the external memory when the defining information in the fixed page document is detected, and the XML parser 62 analyzes the defining information read from the external memory when the reference calling of the defining information in the fixed page document is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
