<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument capable of controlling the silencing aspect of a musical sound while silencing the musical sound. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic percussion instrument has a padding body having a first sensor for detecting the applied intensity and generating a first trigger signal, a padding body holding member for holding the padding body in such a manner as to float it, a second sensor for detecting the displacement of the padding body that is disposed floated and generating a second trigger signal, a musical sound generation means for generating a musical sound based on the first trigger signal, and a control means for performing the time control of the musical sound generated by the musical sound generation means before the second trigger signal is generated, and performing the displacement control of the musical sound generated by the musical sound generation means by the value based on the displacement after the second trigger signal is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
