<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drag of a brake shoe due to the thermal expansion of operating oil. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicular brake device, a free piston 12 stops the flow of operating oil in a cylinder 21 during cancelling braking to adjust a brake clearance between a disc rotor 1 and the brake shoe 9. The vehicular brake device comprises a bypass line 50 connecting an upstream chamber 15 to a downstream chamber 16, and a pilot valve 60 for opening the bypass line 50 as operating oil pressure in the downstream chamber 16 on the upstream chamber 15 exceeds a predetermined value. The pilot valve 60 opens the bypass line 50 as the operating oil pressure in the downstream chamber 16 rises exceeding the predetermined value during cancelling braking, and then the operating oil in the downstream chamber 16 passes through the bypass line 50 to the upstream chamber 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
