PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ternary input circuit capable of realizing ternary input by the minimum number of elements. SOLUTION: The ternary input circuit comprises: a P channel type field effect transistor M1 whose source is connected to a power line, whose drain is connected through a resistor R1 to a grounding line and whose gate is connected to an input terminal T1; and an N channel type field effect transistor M2 whose source is connected to the grounding line, whose drain is connected through a resistor R2 to the power line and whose gate is connected to the input terminal.
