PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of preventing abrasion of raised fabrics and preventing the contact of a suction port body with a floor face. SOLUTION: The suction port body 300 has at least a pair of raised fabrics 910 disposed at the front part of the lower face of the suction port body 300, sliding members 358 disposed at the rear part of the lower face of the suction port body 300, and rollers 960 projecting from the lower face of the suction port body 300. The lower end of the roller 960 is positioned above the lower end of the initial-state raised fabric 910 and the lower end of the sliding member 358, projects below the lower face of the suction port body 300 and, in the initial state, is prevented from making contact with the floor face when the suction port body 300 is placed on the floor face.
